The meaning behind my series is my personal representation of how I am able to find peace and mindfulness while at the beach. For someone growing up on the coast, I have always been inspired by the ocean and by the consoling feelings it gives. In each piece, I incorporated a female figure that is in an active or restful state of comfort while at the beach or in the ocean.
